A month ago, Heritage Hardwood Floors received a call from a customer that we had provided with hardwood floors in Anna, Texas. The older couple’s kids had all completely moved out, and the last one even took the family dog with her. Now the couple didn’t have any animals in the house, so they decided to call us to see if we could improve the look of the hardwood floors that we had installed for them nearly fifteen years ago!
It was nice to hear from customers that we had serviced so long ago as we were anxious to see how the hardwood flooring held up for the couple. We met with them and we assured them that a hardwood floor refinishing (and some repair in certain areas) would bring a new shine to the home.
The hardwood floors refinishing and repairs were scheduled.
The crew from our wood floor refinishing service arrived at the home as scheduled, and the first thing they saw was that there were a few heavy pieces of furniture that the couple was unable to move. Our team moved the furniture for them, then the crew then removed the molding and trim from the walls. We then started repairing the floors that needed attention. Once the repairs were done, the crew started sanding the floors. When the crew had the sanding done they vacuumed the rooms to remove all the dust and debris from the floors, then the crew began adding the sealant to the flooring and the crew let it dry overnight. The crew returned the following day to power buff the flooring and to apply a second coat of sealant.
The job only took a couple of days, and when we were finished the couple agreed with each other that their home was now a no-dog zone. They were so happy with how incredible their hardwood floors now looked, it was just as it appeared when we first did their wood floor installation service fifteen years ago. These friendly customers can now enjoy their home and their beautiful oak floors without worrying about their kids or dogs making a mess. This hardwood flooring refinishing project really exceeded the couple’s expectations. The couple even said the flooring looked better today than it did so many years ago, and the price was still quite reasonable. This is, of course, always a plus for homeowners looking to improve or restore a part of their home.
